Don’t Judge, Judge Me

In this piece of work I am trying to represent how people judge others without judging themselves or possibly judge themselves to much. If you can’t see the whole picture then you can’treally judge things in a useful way.
In this piece of work I decided to use a variation on the pin hole lense, basically a piece of paper with a tiny hole in it so you only see a small part of the whole picture. On the paper are also the words Judge Me / Dont Judge.
The idea of judging something without knowing what it is, perfectly fits this approach because of the blurring for the pinhole technique, and in how you don’t see the whole picture.
When my work was presented as a whole piece at our school open night, it created a sense curiosity for the audience. People were drawn in, wanting to come in closer and watch it. |
