Distant Objective was orignally video taped from a hand-held mobile phone. This project was meant to show the changing shadows of a group of steel hand made trees I sculpted out of wire. As the project developed this became the back story for an interesting and non directed video piece. The use of sound keeps the viewer's attention, it has been edited and changed to be almost like a broken 60's radio signal. To achieve this effect I used an audio manipulation application which allowed me to add effects and change how the audio sounded. The visuals are made up of multiple videos edited together from documentation of my art work.
